NETLink PRO

Controllers of Siemens\' S7 family and compatible solutions have large spreading in automation applications. Softing offers optimized integration interfaces that connect such controllers to pc-based environments.

The interfaces of the NETLink PRO family supply you with the best connection to your controllers, be it locally or over the network. Thanks to their smooth integration into the Siemens tools these devices act like a PG adapter, however with substantially higher flexibility. In addition, the S7/S5 OPC Server provides you universal access to your controller data via OPC. This fast server is easy to install and allows for up to 256 controllers to be addressed simultaneously. Furthermore, it permits importing symbolic data from STEP7 and Excel.

NETLink PRO introduces a solution that eliminates the shortcomings of other adapters: It provides connections for up to 8 controllers simultaneously, a full data transfer rate up to 12 Mbits/s, automatic baud rate recognition as well as a robust design allowing operation at ambient temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius.
NETLink PRO is connected to the S7 controller\'s MPI interface. Both NETLink PRO adapters can be used in conjunction with Siemens STEP7 programming software.
As an attractively priced and flexible interface, NETLink PRO complements Softing\'s S7/S5 OPC Server.
