eWON 4001 is the Advanced Serial-to-Ethernet Gateway for industrial applications featuring alarm management, data logging and dynamic web HMI capabilities. The unit interfaces any serial PLCs or any serial automation devices to Ethernet. This allows them to be connected to Ethernet platforms and software (OPC servers, workstations with PLC programming software, etc...) for data polling and/or maintenance. eWON 4001 performs data acquisition and data logging from PLCs or automation devices in various protocols, including raw ASCII mode.

Collecting data for statistics and later review (historical logging) or to analyse recent trends (real-time logging), eWON stores tags values in its internal database and passes them on at regular intervals or on alarms, by FTP or email, to higher end management systems such as SCADA, Historian, ERP, etc... Also accessible on user request, eWON displays the data in graphs or exports them in various table formats. | ||

Thanks to eWON’s embedded web server, you can watch production behaviour through any standard web browser interface. viewON empowers you to create your own animated web HMI within minutes, without any specific web skills, cutting short on delays and development costs.
